I see a children’s book in the making. She is already Liz in my mind. No idea why except Hector and Liz sound like nice neighbors

Hector and Liz would be a pretty epic children’s book . . . :D

Adore this in every way. Sometimes I feel like a skink. Sometimes I don’t🙂

Did they ever find the beef?

Indeed :)))))... and yes!!!!

Wow... a self-domesticating skink. What an unbelievable story! Must be surreal to actually witness.

It's truly surreal. It's not quite a wolf by the fireside, but yes, there's definitely some familiarity emerging. It's about every day now that they go under the lamp about 10 am or so. So there's a technology angle, too -- the skink is adapting to the light source, our schedule, etc.

Have you asked her what her name is?

Josh Chamot's avatar

I've tried, but maybe I should try in French...

How about Slink? Long, slender, snake-like.

Josh Chamot's avatar

I like that!!! Like in Toy Story :)

Yes.

This is SO adorable! I think we should call her Skye....skye the skink.

Josh Chamot's avatar

I love that . . .

Oh I wish I was an Oscar Meyer Wiener…..do I really need that one?🤣

LOL -- well, it IS a classic. We need just one more double entendre on this page and we'll get official NSFW status.
